Maison Perrier-Jouët Joins Élysée Collective’s Portfolio

Élysée Collective has been appointed as the Australian PR agency for Maison Perrier-Jouët. As one of France’s most historic champagne houses, Perrier-Jouët is renowned for its floral and intricate champagnes which reveal the true essence of the Chardonnay grape and an enduring tradition of savour-fare.

Acclaimed for their distinctively floral and intricately curated champagnes, Maison Perrier-Jouët is one of France’s most historic and distinctive champagne houses. Founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adelaide Jouët, the house was born from their romantic connection, based on paralleled love of nature and art, an unchallenged passion for champagne, and a bold entrepreneurial vision. Revealing the true essence of the Chardonnay grape and an enduring tradition of savoir-faire, Maison Perrier-Jouët has always been shaped by audacious choices, ever since its beginnings in Epernay France. Located north-East of Paris, in the region now reputable for housing the world’s most esteemed houses, the celebrated champagne house boasts an unparalleled expertise of only seven Cellar Masters since its inception.

Aware of the fundamental importance of terroir, they and successive generations have enriched the House vineyards with exceptional plots, notably in the famed Côte des Blancs, all whilst safeguarding the uncompromising principle that vintages would only be produced in years of near-perfect conditions.

With a mission to re-enchant the world, the tradition of crafting nature into art remains at the heart of Maison Perrier-Jouët. Finding expression through the house’s association with the revolutionary Art Nouveau movement, naturally the iconic white anemone motif was born. Designed in 1902 by pre-eminent artist of the time, Emile Gallé. The intricate floral design adorns the famed Belle Epoque bottles and instantaneously sets Perrier-Jouët’s champagnes apart, much like their instantly identifiable and distinctive floral style found in each champagne.

As a boutique house founded on family spirit, Charles Perrier, the son of the founders, took over the house in 1841, which flourished under his vision. Travelling extensively, Charles carried the renown of Maison Perrier-Jouët beyond the borders of France, where the house’s champagnes were served to only the most esteemed guests in the royal courts of Europe.

Perrier-Jouët’s Belle Epoque vintage collection including Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs, Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque and Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé stand as testament to the House’s dexterity of vintage. Produced in very limited quantities, each vintage naturally reflects the character of its particular year whilst simultaneously showcasing the signature style and savoir-faire of Maison Perrier-Jouët.

With a singular vision to elevate nature and being known for defying tradition and breaking free from the clichés of luxury and champagne, the Garden will reimagine nature in a vibrant, magnetic and spectacularly extravagant way, playing host to  unique champagne experiences and events that fully express the Maison’s ‘Art of the Wild’ ethos with nature and art at its core.
