Creed debuts ‘Queen of Silk’ during Fashion Week partnership

In May 2024, the House of Creed celebrated its new role as the official fragrance partner of Australian Fashion Week and the unveiling of its latest fragrance, Queen of Silk, over an opulent dinner at Carriageworks in Sydney.

A single table of 80 special guests were treated to an evening of regal ambiance suffused with the enchanting essence of Queen of Silk, with the former railway space transformed by swathes of royal purple – sumptuous silk, dynamic lighting and mesmerising florals to mirror the luminous hue of the new perfume’s bottle.

Upon arrival, guests indulged in bespoke Creed cocktails – spritzed with Queen of Silk-inspired cedar wood oil – followed by a culinary journey of French cuisine crafted by Merivale. Throughout the night, the soundscape was masterfully crafted by DJ Richy Penny alongside singer Molly Roberts. Among those who walked the “purple carpet” were Julie Bishop, Edwina McCann, Tim Robards, Elliot Garnaut, Lindy Klim, Marlo Kelly and fashion designer Michael Lo Sordo.

Creed partnered with Lo Sordo to design an exclusive royal purple silk gown styled with black evening gloves inspired by Queen of Silk and referencing Creed’s heritage as a tailoring brand. The dress was unveiled at Lo Sordo’s CBD runway show as part of the official Australian Fashion Week schedule and was showcased by IMG model Natalia Binks during the Carriageworks dinner.

Guests each departed with a 100ml bottle of the Queen of Silk fragrance.
