Cire Trudon Six Collection Masterclass at Agence de Parfum

Cire Trudon, the world’s oldest and most revered candle manufacturer, celebrated the Australian launch of their limited edition SIX collection with an intimate masterclass at Agence de Parfum’s Sydney-based showroom, showcasing the unique candles to prominent editors.

Hosted by Cire Trudon’s Senior Marketing Manager Gavin Sommer, together with appointed luxury public relations agency Élysée Collective, the masterclass saw editors gain expert knowledge on candle care, whilst exploring the origins of the candle house, their latest collection SIX and the connection between scent and memory through the six senses – nose, mouth, hand, ear, eye and heart.

Gavin took press on an olfactive journey through the allegorical collection, showcasing the distinctive design of white tinted glass and the series of colourful, hand illustrated stickers offered, each portraying one of the six senses, designed to be freely placed on the glass.

Following this, Gavin continued to explore the SIX Collection, showcasing the six unscented, black pillar candles, each representing a reciprocal sense, characterised by the use of colourful cameos which are replicates of the hand-illustrated stickers.

Maintaining the light-hearted, colourful theme of the collection, attendees were welcomed to an abundance of brightly coloured floral arrangements, reflecting the colours of each hand-illustrated sticker that covered the plinths. Delicate canapes of french chocolate tartlets, finger sandwiches and mini meringue bites were served, accompanied by an offering of Mumm Champagne.

Guests in attendance included editors from beauty and lifestyle publications including Vogue Australia, Grazia, Belle, Real Living, Marie Claire, Elle Australia and Sunday Life.

SIX by Cire Trudon is available in Australia at Agence de Parfum’s retail arm Libertine Parfumerie, online through www.libertineparfumerie.com.au, as well as exclusively though selected niche boutique perfumeries in Australia and New Zealand.
